Anderson and Verhoeven again, Jacks knows he has to get it there. Anderson nice kick but goes out just in front of Verhoeven.
 
Tempest is having a nightmare against Anderson.
 
Duffy with a huge hole on his inside but nobody there in support.

Should have taken Tupouniua on himself, seemed like he gave up on the play instead of adjusting.
 
Anderson chimes in down the right, creates the extra man and Lobb scores in the corner.

Been a fine half of footy from Grant.

Te Kura drew the penalty early on. Jarviz kept poking his nose through the middle of the ruck, allowed the big fella to get on the front foot and Pies spoiled the ruck in response.
 
Very even contest so far. Can’t believe that gap down the other end and all Duffy needed was a runner. 16-6 instead of even stevens.

Souths most improved, real calmness about them. Not sure how long they can keep it going but one half in definite improvement.

Anderson has been excellent for Wynnum and best Bronco by a mile.

Only making a move with Shiba if it's a long term thing IMO.

I don't think it would be wise to do it over 80, but Gem played some second row last year didn't he?

Giving Magpies a points decision at this stage. Wynnum have looked more dangerous, but Souths have just gone about their business.

Could easily see Wynnum score three tries in first 10 minutes.

I think so but I think it is worth trying it or something, Gosiewski just can't be picked again.
 
Souths with composure and a nice Duffy kick results in a try, brought them up and rolls it in.
 
The one thing Duffy hasn't done is direct play at Te Kura, have to get him at marker or on the ground.
