Leo finishes it off with a great tackle jamming in on Elliott to force the mistake.

They did it the hard way, but in the championship minutes they stood tall. Just the attention to detail from the Bears was enough.

Some great cover defence as well. Hamilton with two try-savers made a big difference.

None of the Broncos played out of their skin but they'll be better for the run. The Dolphins had to respect Semu near the line and that ultimately created points for the Bears.

I know he's not popular on here, but good to see Oloapu back. He had some classy touches for the Dolphins, he should be fun to watch this season.

That's a round one win, kick and save tries/tackle. Not too much that's going to force Madge to do anything, but Burt will be happy.

Coster that's his jam.

Played 30 minutes.

Only had the one attacking set where he tried to put his receiver into space but couldn't quite time it.

Dolphins went after him in defence and found some success. They won a lot of tackles going after him but couldn't quite convert their opportunities.

Not Francis' most inspiring Meninga performance, one good run in the first half. I know it's rain and mud and Under 19 but these are the games you proof you don't belong here not belong here.
 
The forward pass at about 64-65 mins of Redcliff v Burleigh had me in stitches. That was a quarterback throw.
 
Poese would have to be one of the best ground makers in Meninga.

Francis v Horne today.

Thought Francis was a bit slow and disinterested last week but first game for the season.

Harris-Tavita had easily his best game of his season last week in his four-game career.
 
Francis nice try supporting up the middle. Just keep moving.
 
I am prepared to say Harris Tavita has the best Cyril passing game I have seen.

Taniela Mapapalangi try- long pass.
Harrison Cameron try- sleight of hand I didn't even realise the second rower had it.
Billo Wotton try- pass to Taukolo and Billo Wotton try.
Leroy Malone- kick for that try- placed it perfectly.

He is a strange half body shape tall and thick but moves quickly, changes his stance, sometimes flat and sometimes deep even behind the dummy half like he's hiding. But once he's decided what he's going the last two weeks it's been the right option.

Sounds like a great prospect. Do you think he is a halfback or five-eight long term?

Horne pulled out.

It's hard to match the excitement of your debut in a prelim and ET Grand Final game two. Francis looks a bit like the guy that's chasing that feeling and not getting it from round five.

Bears first try he touched the ball twice, but he looked like he was going at about 85%.

He kept tipping it on from his runs. I'd prefer he just rip in. Games 3-4 have certainly not matched 1-2.
