It's hard to match the excitement of your debut in a prelim and ET Grand Final game two. Francis looks a bit like the guy that's chasing that feeling and not getting it from round five.

Bears first try he touched the ball twice, but he looked like he was going at about 85%.

He kept tipping it on from his runs. I'd prefer he just rip in. Games 3-4 have certainly not matched 1-2.

Would be worth him trying to get an exemption to play cup now?

There's been a lot of concerns about the blow-outs in the NRL.

Q Cup hasn't been much better.

Pride/TH Seagulls were the exception. Pride laid on 3 tries inside the opening ten minutes but struggled to convert. Was going to be 20-6 HT until the Seagulls scored a try right on HT. Still, the Pride always kept the Seagulls at an arm's difference through out.

I missed his debut, but good to see Chappell in QCup. Chappell was scouted by the Eels played some SG Ball and Flegg but COVID limited his opportunities and the Eels moved onto Sanders. I wondered what became of him, I thought he would have played some Cup after linking up with the Falcons.

He gets his opportunity against one of the competition heavyweights in the featured game of the round.
