How exactly do we benefit from having Te Kura in our squad? Just as out of place as Leota was except he doesn’t even have the athleticism going for him.

He's tall.

It's his fifth year of Cup and third club and can anyone that's watched those five years see any difference between year one and year five?

Has been super unlucky with injuries. Every time he looks to break through he gets set back with an injury that sets him out for a long period of time. If he can string together a few more games and get back into it he will be good for us. 9-0 in penalty/ruck infringement in the first half is taking any forward pack off after 20 mins. His second stint was very good I thought
 
I don't think anyone came out of this weekend putting pressure on the NRL team. Best Broncos round three.

Semu showing improvement and runs that show some football smarts.

Arthars good try but two Norths try were scored on him to lock it up too and he ran up and took no once.

Francis good try in Meninga to win the game. He's so strong- two great runs in the set- he wanted the ball when it needed to be won.

Harris-Tavita- guiding a great Cyril team around the park and passing it to whomever he wants. I can't see anyone beating them next week. There was a passage against Dolphins where he took it in, got whacked bounced up and passed the ball away and then reset for the fifth- got a repeat set.

Wynnum, Bears and Souths are playing at least one terrible half every week and in Wynnum's case today it was two.
 
This is probably a very naive question from someone who doesn't watch any lower tier RL - do the Broncos currently have an unusually high number of youngsters within their feeder teams who are struggling to progress their games or is this no different to any other period of time and on par with what's happening across every NRL club ? Are expectations skewed by what we read in the Courier Mail?

Purdue, Lahrs, Hau, Bai all playing in Cows v Tits right now. Our guys in the same age groups are all behind where they should be.

The Broncos are normally in a position that they don't have to rush players too. Bai probably not even playing NRL at the Broncos and playing Cup.

I do agree that this 2020- present cohort is taking too long to progress from Meninga-Cup-NRL.

Played centre on the left, he was ok at best. Worked hard but Wynnum didn't exactly set him up to succeed. They only had 40% of the ball so 18 hit ups are pretty good effort but like everyone at Wynnum it didn't come to much today. He made ground whenever he ran it, but I don't think Madge will be rushing him back.
 
The issue is the lack of representation from the Broncos. Of the current crop you have

It's only one try but it was a 60m stunner. If he's got another 24 of those in him look out.
