Kevie picked Hunt out of Ipswich over Cherry-Evans.
Jennings was also dropped before one of his selections back when he was playing for the Panthers IIRC.

I can understand Capewell and Cotter for their defence (bodyguard the halves) and their 1%ers.
I would have had Finefeuiaki personally.
But Shiba and Mam - WTF?
Even Purdue is more deserving of one of those spots, or Chester
And Cobbo?
He looks half the player of 23-24.
But he's still a freak if he's on.
I think Patty in 2 × 20 min stints will be a different player and looking forward to what Plath, Walker and and Jojo can do.

I would have given Walsh the first go. He has been awful since he has been back but think that more of a reflection on the team he is in.
Cobbo was awful to start the year but he has been very good the last month or so. I guess Taulagi concussion is serious. Fifita? I guess. The centres are the exact pair I would have picked.
Walker? Yeah I just think he is strong enough fundamentally yet.
Flegler? He has been awful. I would have just started cotter there and played finefuiaki as a backrower but somehow Nikora is higher in the pecking order. Plath is fine. Would have been on the bench though. Capewell has been strong since he has been back
The 6 man bench is one of the worst I have ever seen. Loieiro has been out of form and Nikora has only just broke back into the sharks team and he has not been good either. Mam and Shibasaki should not have sniffed the team. Especially shibasaki. Carrigan and Collins have to be picked but I even cant defend Carrigan anymore with the absolute bullshit he is displaying in games this year. He looks like he is 28 going on 35 atm. Penalty machine. Will fit in well with Loieiro.
Finefeuiaki not being in the team is laughable. This isnt a David Fifita situation. The man has a high work rate and runs great lines for his halves and makes his tackles and he plays 80mins weekly now. Head scratching.
Luki? I mean. I thought he should have been on the bench atleast? Not as strong as a worker or defender but has an xfactor?
I guess they are trying to defendi themselves to victory and expect it to be refereed differently? But then you have Sam Walker? That contradicts that. Im dumbfounded.
Its better than the first predicted side they had out yesterday with howarth and hammer as the fullback and ponga as 7 but not that much better. Hopefully this is just news journalists throwing darts but they are usually spot on this late into the piece.
I had similar opinions last year and somehow they won game 3 and the series so Ill give it the first game. Laurie Daley is the coach of the other team so all hope is not lost.

This makes me feel much better. This is a massive team but Tedesco over Edwards is laughable.
Haumole can be busting 13 tackles a week I still don't think he is a good origin player. He couldnt keep up last time and he was in better form. AFB has not been good at all this year. And I don't like their bench either
