Yeah a really close final, shame Qld sucked so bad in the first innings. If they got Sangha right now...who knows but you would think too little too late.

As much as I hate the Bulls losing it’s been a great win for SA. 2/3 comps after not winning for so long.
Seven wooden spoons since 2017/18 across comps!
The Hussey review said target 12-15th numbered players in other states and give them a game and Doggett and Sangha were the heroes.

Great fighting effort after the first innings batting debacle. They fought hard. Clayton and Wildermuth were fantastic as was Steketee.
Great scenes at the end and the presentation.
Will be interesting to see if the generational change continues at the Bulls next year. This year we had
Hearne 7 games
Lovell 7 games
Straker 5 games
Whitney 3 games
Vidler 2 games
Burdon 1 game
The fast bowling rotation will be interesting. Vidler, Straker and Whitney all good enough to play. Will be hard to retain them all if they are sitting their stuck behind Neser, Steketee, Bartlett and Wildermuth. Could be tough to get them regular game time next year if Neser stays fit but doesnt play for Australia A and Bartlett could potentially lose his CA contract on the basis Dwarshius and others seem to be getting selected in front of him.
