3 games

They won't pick Wallace. I'm 100% certain of that. They'll go with the old Pearce-Carney combination, and they'll stack their bench with a few backrowers, one of them versatile like Luke Lewis, and a front rower.

For mine, every Broncos game is a cracker. At this stage of the season, and given the way the team has been playing so far, we will make the 8 at least, whatever the outcome of the next 3 games.

I will be enjoying each game at the way the combinations evolve and develop, lessons are learned ... and seeing Hoffman getting more in involved up front.

At the moment, the 6, 7 (Wallace and Hunt) & 9 are controlling the middle and directing play really well, and the defence is excellent. As long as the effort keeps moving up from 60 mins towards a full 80, I can see a top 4 easily, whatever the result of the next 3 games.

As for Wallace and Origin, I can't see it. Pearce and Carney are both playing well enough (by NSW standards) to get picked, plus they have a history of combining.

Wallace won't be picked for Game 1, but if NSW loses, then he's definitely a chance for game 2 or 3.

I also think one QLD spot will be given to either Civo or Gillett. I personally hope it's Civo, he deserves a proper send off, not being forced out of the team after the service he's given us.

The chances for an Origin call up for Wallace improved with Farrah hardly being endorsed on NRL on Fox tonight. Getting called out to improve his perceived defensive frailty. Wallace has been praised for his defensive strength and I have little doubt he'd play well wherever he was positioned....I hate it when Broncos turn out to be Blues...I manage to forget that ....most of the time
