I know it's being discussed in the Origin forum, but the only real changes I'd make to that would be Prince for Hunt, and switch Webb and Hannant (Webb off the bench in other words).

And Harrison for Marsh.

would you drop Hunt altogether

LOL, the only thing I'm worried about for Hunt is his defence. He'll be fine in attack.

I'm not so sure. When he's at FB he has far more room to move, and more time to read the play. Everytime I've seen him taking the ball from close to the line, he seems to get tackled pretty switfly without doing too much.

Remember when he played those two games at halfback for us in 07? He pretty much got the ball at second receiver a few times and each time he made a linebreak. I think he will do pretty well (he won't have to do much with Thurston and Smith in the side anyway), and this will only help him develop his playmaking abilities.

I think that should be left for the club level. It's crazy to throw someone into a new role in a rep match of this size.

I don't think he'll do anything wrong, I just don't think he'll have the attacking flare we're used to from him. I hope Lockyer gives him plenty of tips.

The best time. He won't be doing much of it, but what he will be doing, especially at the toughest form of Rugby League, will hopefully help him a lot.

I seem to remember when Mal took over the Qld coaching role NSW were supposedly on the cusp of a dynasty.

Mal shook things up a little and picked some young blokes and tried a different approach and won the next 2 series.

I will wait and see how this side goes first, particularly Hunt at 5/8 before judging anything because MAl has so far made a lot of good decisions.
I think Hunt will surprise many at 5/8.

Including himself ... [icon_lol1. [icon_pray.

Nevertheless, I think it's a disgrace that Prince wasn't picked.
