Seems like it’s been a lions master stroke recruiting stuart dew as an assistant coach. Apparently helping a lot with skills and tactics. Hope he sticks around for a few seasons.

On another note, The afl finals are something else compared to the nrl. The atmosphere is incredible. The games have been highly entertaining.

Shattering for the Big O. He’s been good all year. Darcy Fort will come in and provide a big body around the contest. Grundy will likely run him off his feet though.

We’ve done it before though with Grundy and losing our ruck. Basically we just get Fort to push him around us much as possible but let Grundy win every tap, we just read it and react, essentially neutralise the hit out.

We have to shut down Heeney and we’ve done it before several times. Shut him down, we win.

Not a popular opinion here but AFL is the better game. It wasn’t but Vlandys has destroyed NRL and AFL has picked up the slack. If The Broncos ever folded I would never watch another game of NRL.
