I read he had a reconstruction over the off season, so you'd imagine he'd be near 100% following the early rounds. The only extended runs he has had without injury were post knee recon for the Panthers and the first half of 1 or 2 seasons with us that culminated in origin selection.

I know it's ifs and buts.. however I believe you'll see a radical improvement from Wallace once he is injury free and can get some extended time on the paddock.

No, I don't feel it's off topic because the notion of recruiting Anasta as a successor to Lockyer in the 6 requires a look at who would partner him in the 7 - and obviously Wallace and Hunt are the key contenders there.

The fact that there is equal discontent with both suggests it'd be pretty stupid to recruit a non-playmaking 6 like Anasta, particularly with our depth of quality back rowers.
