Seems like he may be looking for a new home.

This may be Locky's last year and we do not have a ready made replacement for him.

I know Anasta has many haters, but he is a bankable commodity.

With the lack of Faith in Wallace being shown in this forum, maybe we need to look at the experienced Half.

yep, rocky summed it up.

Can't see it happening. I'd never play him in the halves and we have an abundance of lock/second rowers.

+1

Especially if we're going to persevere long term with Wallace. Last thing we need is another non-natural playmaker in the 6.

He looks like one but honestly Anasta sounds like a class act.

Will never forget the time everybody and their dog was making a big noise about suspending Hunt for the entire season over that hit he put on Anasta and Braith came out and said he'd defend Karmichael.

If Lockyer went at the end of this year, I'd take Braith in a heartbeat. Good head on his shoulders and he's an out and out leader. He's much maligned, however that's through no fault of his own. He's the sort of player you build a club around IMO.

I'd take him to play in the 6 after Lockyer retires in a second. Our long term halfback Hunt needs a decent player to play beside.

Agree with m1c if they get rid of Wallace, as Beads suggests.

I can't believe people are suggesting Hunt to be the long term Brisbane halfback.
He has the ball skills of a girl from a home made porn movie

Let me guess you are hoping the Broncos sign Sandow [icon_shru

hunt isnt in my long term calculations. he needs to make people stand up and notice him in QCup form before i consider anyone who "was a toyota cup star"

its completely different. he is outclassed when under the pump an points dont leak in the hundreds.

on the other hand and back on topic i see wallace as a long term #7 but anasta is not the #6 i want beside him. throw some weight on norman so hes not a defensive liability and maybe norman/wallace combo...

Agree on the Hunt love being premature. Couldn't even make the #7 jersey for Central Comets at the start of last season and did SFA when given the opportunity at halfback for the Broncos. Potential there for sure but jury still way out and I think some people only have big wraps on him because they want Wallace dropped.

As compared with Wallace who has the ball skills of a double amputee deaf mute making midget porn.

Regardless of what type of movies you watch Chris, don't you ( and others ) think that we have been down the Hunt path several times before?
Young player talked up as the next big thing only to be exposed as not being up to it.
I, like others, see nothing special in Hunt.
As Rocky said initially, Braith is a lock forward with some ball skills, but his biggest attribute is his running game on the edges.
He is not the answer at 6.

You're right. We forked out significant cash to recruit one of those talked up, overrated kids from Penrith then upgraded him on the back of 5 good games in his debut season.

How about we wait and see how he goes this season, when he's not playing busted?
