The NRL has been flogging Carney and Pearce's *mindset* and *performance* business for a few months now
Yep... they've taken up their spots in the Sydney boys clubThe NRL has been flogging Carney and Pearce's *mindset* and *performance* business for a few months now
I think Billy needs to drop out completely and Mozer start at 9. Bring in Paix or Smoothy that have better running games.I think billy is our best utility, I’d start mozer and if hunt ends up at 9 at some point I think Billy will have to drop out of the 17.
I trust madge to put the best player in each position (not based upon personal relationships).I think Billy needs to drop out completely and Mozer start at 9. Bring in Paix or Smoothy that have better running games.
Seem to recall Madge saying he wanted Paix to stick around, can’t recall him saying the same about Billy or Smoothy.I would be surprised if our Hooker rotation isn't Billy and Mozer to begin with, Hunt surely at 6.
Madden and Paix need to be offloaded but Madden is probably the only one that has market value to do so.
If Madge feels Paix is good though it could solve most of our cap issues as Billy would be much easer to find a team for than Paix would be.

He should be, he has played regular first grade for several seasons now.Billy is relatively old for a solid NRL player who isn't a star, I'm not sure he would be that easy to shop around.
Think that was said about Paix because he was told he could look elsewhere before Madge got here and it's basically a clean slate now to prove your position in the team. Similar to HetheringtonSeem to recall Madge saying he wanted Paix to stick around, can’t recall him saying the same about Billy or Smoothy.
I will give credit to Billy where its due, he has been one of the best trainers so far.I trust madge to put the best player in each position (not based upon personal relationships).
If he believes that's billy for now so be it.
Carney’s tale isn’t really that cautionary. He played 10 years of NRL despite his woeful behaviour. NRL finally had enough after seemingly endless chances, then he went and made money playing in Europe then has now come back and gets cushy gigs doing media and speaking.Carney has landed a gig at Keebra and is doing a lot of speaking and helping pathway Titans.
He is always happy to tell his cautionary tale.
