Nah there's a minimum number of top level salary cap players that have to go. Or something to that effect. So there'll at least be some players worth watching.

Except I can't think of a year yet where a significant player has been the best. It's all about the young guys

The minimum number of top players is 1. You need 5 from your top 25, so realistically you can get away with your 5th best player and 8 reserve graders, with another 8 Under 20's/train and trial-ers.

This year's tournament may actually be the exception to the rule Allo.

In previous years we've seen Shaun Johnson, Adam Reynolds and Corey Norman honoured as player of the tournaments.

This year it's Connor Watson which is surprising when you consider the likes of JT, Johnson, Norman, Milford, Hayne etc. were all apart of it.
