The team just didn't get off to a good start and the Cowboys wanted it more and had better balance across the park. Wouldn't pin it on anyone player and I'm certainly not cross with Sam who did the best he could have been expected to do down that touchline.

We fought well but there wasn't much that could have been done against that offload from Linnett. That was just good play there.

Overall, enjoyable day of footy and I had fun watching it as a Broncos supporter.

I thought Macca was outstanding throughout every game. Very impressed with how he went, he actually knows how to play uptempo!
I hope that can translate into the regular season.

Hope you didn't think when I said things could have been different if Sammy had of not touch the line as an indication as me being upset or insinuating he cost us the game, certainly not what I think, was only barely touched so can hardly hold that against him.
