First grand final I've seen the broncos lose, disappointing. Think kodi was good, thaiday stepped up for sure. Macca was decent in patches still not convinced by him tho.

Decent in patches? He was our best player, if not one of the best

Im surprised we made it to the final tbh. We did well considering the team we picked. Every team had 4 or 5 quick footed speedsters. We had barba and hoffman. We picked too many forwards, and it somehow ended up working for all the games but the final. Cowboys just had too much speed on the flanks for us.

Observations from our games
Barba isnt 100% on that ankle still, and seemed a bit sluggish.
Nikorima (sp) is the best 5/8th we have.
Hunt is not ready to lead a team around fulltime.
Hoffman has a good fend on him
Stagg is not a Nines player, nor an NRL player anymore

Macca was just named in the team of the tournament, blended well with our halves and scored some great individual tries. If you're still not convinced by him you may never be and in that case any future discussion regarding Macca with you will be discounted as you simply having an agenda...


A fit Barba and we have a young confident spine with some great potential, we as fans need to just stop expecting the world in a week and encourage these guys and cheer them on as they develop combinations and grow as players.

I'm struggling to understand some thoughts from people, why is Hunt being discounted? Is this because we as a club have been spoilt with guys like Locky and Langer?

He just seemed out of his depth being the "go to guy". Nikorima stepped up far more and seemed to take the game by the scruff of the next whenever he could. I know its only the Nines, but Hunt just did little to confirm he is our long term halfback for me

Disappointed with the final result, but proud of the effort our boys put in. No one really thought we'd make the finals, so great job. If Barba's injured again, I'll be pissed!
