Missed it... who was it?

Jay lee.

Had a lazy bet on the Kumuls to beat the line but it looks like I've done my dough. LOLZ!

Hmmm PNG need to lose the mistake rate. The last 2 trys are from simple errors from the PNG boys and awesome backing up from ours.

PNG board has only themselves to blame by going local instead of picking the best.

Try gone begging there. Lotta Tequilla unmarked outside Tonga.

Smith scores out of dummy half anyway.

42-0! PNG will beat the line if they can hold out for the next two minutes.

Papa needs some new shoes!

Locky!!!!!!

Now the leading try scorer for the Roos.

Congrats to Locky, a true champion....

does anyone know if anyone in international rugby league has more tries or is Locky now the world record holder for test tries.

he should be the record holder for most test but was screwed by the ARL not including his 4 SL tests (while Wiki has 11 SL tests counted to his tally and his is only 2 or 3 test matches ahead of Locky)

Awful selections in picking Watmough who did nothing and Gidley (who I do rate as a player) because he went on and didn't have a role, he ran sideways and got in the way. Luke Lewis should be the bench utility for Australia any other player is a waste.

That was entertaining. The Kumuls weren't a hope obviously but putting on the big hits pretty much every set of 6!! How good is the jukebox!!!!!

Well done to Locky, over the hill and all............................ [icon_lol1.

Agree with Brizz, piss off Watmough and Gidley. I'd go with this for the forward pack:

8. Shillington
9. Smith
10. Civoniceva
11. Myles
12. Thaiday
13. Gallen
--------------------------------
14. Lewis
15. Leoroyd-Lahrs
16. Scott
17. Carney

Play Lewis as the bench back rower and Carney there for a bit of x-factor off the bench.

man that was a disappointing effort from the aussies. PNG gifted them a few tries from kicks and were dreadful with the ball, but they didnt leave too many gaps for the aussies (that or the roos just couldnt make any). they will have to pick it up to beat NZ

I think that pack and bench looks the goods.

What about the backline? I don't think there is too much need for change?

Tonga and Tate were cod ordinary. Tonga in particular! Very disappointing.
Watmaugh & Lewis were pretty useless too. lewis probs better off the bench.
Get rid of Gidley. Argh. At least he didn't replace Smith who was epic.

As much as it goes against everything I believe in, I think Gallen was the stand out. Gallen & Slater.

Can't believe it wasn't live, I had it ruined for me by going on twitter [icon_thumbs_do Channel 9. FFS, don't you realise people will tune in. Also putting NZ v England on in the middle of the night is ajoke too. Do you not understand footy withdrawals? [icon_shru

Thank god for foxtel. I got to see the 2nd half of NZ v England live, and got to see Samoa vs Tonga late last night (did they show that on 9? It was Andrew Voss common potatoing).

I thought Lewis was OK. He looked pretty dangerous with ball in hand and his defence was strong. Watmough just shouldn't be there. Gallen was strong (yes, it pains me to say it too). Gidley was shit. Cronk was ordinary. Tate got hammered repeatedly which I think led to his shitness. Tonga is just a ball hog. He could so easily have given Tuqiri space but constantly went himself.

Thought Nate Myles was epic too, but much better in the 2nd row.

I thought Australia overall were typical of a first hit out in a series - a bit rusty, not much going on in attack. Good to have that kind of a workout to start with though. They'll need to go up a notch against England, but they'll still win by 30.

Nate Myles is a pleasure to watch!

But should be in the back row. Absolutely. Chuck Lewis to the bench and bring Scott into the side.

Cronk did his job, but Prince would have been better, no two ways about it.

I can't believe they brought Gidley on for Tate, is that because he was injured or was that the plan?

that was an absolutely horrible game of football to watch. i stopped watching with 20 minutes to go and just recorded it, australia were playing that poorly.
