New ball wasted, waiting for a mistake, at some point they'll get a few wickets in a bunch to give hope and then go back to 5th stump line and allow whoever the new bats are to get their eye in by just leaving the ball.

There is still definitely enough in this pitch to get 7 more. The challenge will be the fact India will likely shut up shop. Pant is now a huge wicket because he can definitely still turn the game.

The two out of form players gone in Rohit and Kholi... Rahul was a massive wicket to get early and cheaply though.
They've still got plenty of batting in the sheds though.
Jaiswal, Jadeja, Reddy and Sundar are all in form for this match/series and Pant is just pure PTSD to Australia.
Pant has mostly been getting himself out this series, but will he put it away and just bat smart.
If India just play for the draw now and just shut up shop (likely) then there is still a lot of work to do... need to keep them playing at the ball and not allowed to leave easily outside off stump.
