So basically, the two best bats are not available and the current best bat is the keeper who is below average compared to normal bats.

Essentially, the Australian top 6 are batting as well as several other teams' tails. To rectify this between test 1 and test 2, Australia has done...absolutely nothing. The players weren't ready for the first test which is unbelievable and they will just be even less battle hardened going in to tomorrow.

If they can win, based on the form guide of the last 24 months, it will be a monumental upset...on home soil. Unreal.

But but Marnus can bowl 130kph+, apparently that is all that makes a good bowler. They'll just keep getting him to intimidate with his wide bouncers.

I don't believe Boland suits the pink ball as much as everyone says he does. He's a hit the deck bowler and doesn't swing it in the air. I'd even be looking at a bloke like Abbott ahead of him, or really out there and getting Spencer.
