I really feel for McSweeney and Khawaja. They did exceptionally well to see him off yesterday and then he gets a massive rest to come out refreshed on a spicy wicket today. Who would want to be an opener?

I know he will now get out but Smith's feet are moving much more freely than any time in recent memory.

I think it is really important though that these two get batting time for the next two tests. Labs showed signs in Adelaide. Smith is showing signs here.

Prior to this over they've got 9 runs off the 6 overs since Bumrah's spell finished... whilst they do need time at the crease they do also need to put score board pressure back on the bowlers.

Bumrah is getting a nice rest at the moment and it hasn't really cost India anything.
