Nothing like our bowlers giving some nice short and wide deliveries to let them chase this down instead of bowing at the fucking stumps.
Not like we lack fast bowling options. Why on God's green earth are we grinding our mid-30's blokes into the dust with huge overs?
This isn't really a tail though... India have basically picked batsmen through to number 8.Still can't finish off a tail FFS
Another MCG road...Draw is into the favourite option on sportsbet
Anyone but Marsh, it's a joke. He's basically there as a good teammate, he should retire before one of his mates breaks down. This is the type of team selection that won India the last tour in Aus. I'd love to see Aus doing something similar for the final test. You would assume Richardson comes in for Starc but I'd also consider Connolly for Marsh given Sydney usually helps spinners and he would give another option and give him a test before SL.
This team still carrying the yips from Headingley 2019.
Why can we not consistently finish off a team when they’re 7 or 8 down ffs
Because this is not your usual 8 and 9, both are legit batsmen.
You can call no as the non striker; if it is obviously suicide. Indians and Pakistani players are always candidates for run outs .Something about their coaching as kids I reckon.Maybe we wouldn’t be having this conversation, doesn’t change the fact it was Kohli’s fault. If Jaiswal hadn’t been thrown under the bus and shown a bit of intent, he might have even been able to make it back.
The fielder doesn’t matter, in that situation, it isn’t Kohli’s decision to make, he wasn’t running to the danger end anyway.
On every metric other than you can’t be wrong, it was Kohli’s fault. Even using your logic against you, if Kohli had responded as he should have and committed, they score the run and continue to put pressure back on Australia.
