I'm impressed with how SMarsh has batted so far this innings, if he and Wade can see it the day we are well on top.

I have been saying for months that India are vastly overrated with their status elevated because of thumping home victories over lightweights such as NZ and Eng. This Aussie side is nothing special but they are good enough to expose India's many deficiencies.

One thing that's been extremely pleasing about Australia's performance so far in this series has been the application and grit and patience with the bat.. at the risk of speaking too soon, our batsmen have seemingly re-learnt how to put a price on their wicket, trust their technique and occupy the crease.. I rate the three innings we've batted so far as the most impressive from an Australian test team in a long long time, even though the scores haven't been massive by any stretch.. I just hope it's the turning of a new leaf because I honestly wasn't sure if we were capable of this type of batting anymore
