Too many injured players picked for this tour.
You should know Mr. Medic hehe
Too many injured players picked for this tour.
Too many injured players picked for this tour.
Surely some head has to role. This was supposed to be a meticulously planned tour and yet all the things that should have planned well have not been planned at all.
It also seems clear that the playing standards have dropped from the team. The captain himself has bowled absolute trash most of both tests.
So true. And I thought it was madness they put the boys in the bbl for a couple of hit and giggle games. When they won in 2004 it was played at the start of our summer September-October- no BBL and they played a warmup game against Mumbai they then went into the first Test a week later and won by 217 runs.
Look at that warm up game (minutes batting)- Hayden 142, Katich 102, Martyn 177, Gilchrist 91 even Lee got an hour.
Second Innings- Langer 190 minutes, Clarke 145 minutes, Hodge 73.
They all got time in the middle.
They have done none of that, the best they did was try and turn North Sydney Oval into an Indian pitch and got it scuffed up for a hit. No where near enough. They needed prep with the SG balls, they needed time batting over there and getting used to things like three spinners.
You can see improvement in the bowlers- Lyon particularly from the first test to second test. Imagine what could have been done with a warmup game.
If Warner and H'Wood are on a plane home, Maxwell and Neser should be on a flight to India already. Maxwell is fit as he's been named to play shield.
Hay dos is over there and is available
I can understand on the lbw but not to review that edge is just insane.
