CRICKET Australia v India

Got him but I tell you what, that is borderline on everything, massive first wicket for Kuhnemann though.

Yessssss Khunemann gets that sliver of leg…. Onya bike Kholi

I'd feel annoyed about getting out to that haha
We’ve had a few tight ones given out in the first innings

whoever these umps are should not be getting a game again for awhile… been a lot of bad calls overturned and tight LBW’s given, whilst others are let go

Kuhnemann finishes with a couple, good on him.

Australia finish with a one run lead, great wagging but India's tail but they are all proper batsmen, so harsh to call them a tail.

Head opening.

Decent session. Good run rate. Anything over 250 will be hard to chase down

We have a chance to bat them out of the game and based on that little stint, they made it look easy

Head opening is also likely the way forward given the dearth of openers available and both Warner and Khawaja getting on, so this is a good trial run.

One thing I find intriguing about Indian cricketers and cricket teams.. for a country with such a prolonged record of dominance at home, the body language of their players can turn really fragile really quickly..

Their captains in particular seem to ride the emotions of every ball & project a lot of unnecessary concern over things which are relatively minor in the overall scheme of a match, like a couple of balls finding the boundary in an over..

They certainty don’t appear to have anything like the same outward self confidence and unwavering self belief that our teams carry.. that rock solid belief that no matter how dire a situation might appear, we were in control and could win from any position.. that was such a strong trait of our golden era teams and even to this day a lot of it still exists..

Obviously we’re talking about different cultures and different characteristics etc, but it’s definitely an interesting difference between India & Australia

India have massively underachieved when you consider the talent they have at their disposal.

Really? Beating Australia in Australia twice is a massive achievement and they did so with a ton of injuries.

Agree.. they have some seriously, ridiculously talented players but not enough trophies on the shelf to show for that
