Mate, we've had the smallest half in the comp's history, and he still pretty much sets the standard...

Also, Barba is shorter than Locky (another standard setting half), and was playing 6 Kgs above Darren's weight.

Cronulla has a good enough forward pack to protect him, allowing him to wreak havoc.

They have a good enough forward pack for a third of the season at least.

Barba is laughable really. He is blaming the Broncos for his whole season and taking no responsibility himself. Probably exactly the reason he was not taken on as a junior with us.
Glad he is not with our club. He really needs to look in the mirror and not the way he normally does.

I hate the way players go to different clubs and then slag off at their previous employers. If they want to be respected then keep your mouths shut and let your actions do the talking

Barba didn't put on fat like the others seemed to. He was looking really bulky through the year. But that wouldn't have hindered his ability to catch whilst standing on the ground.

Nope. . Completely agree with this. He has a right to speak out about it. Wish more players would instead of just grinding out the same old dribble. Griffin is a fine man amd a fantastic developer but was a poor NRL coach. His vision was just plain wrong

Barba may not have liked it but at the end of the day he was being paid by the club to deliver and follow the instructions/game plan set by the coaching staff and while you can argue putting on weight didn't help his cause the bottom line like a coach has his head on a chopping block for under performing, despite what the fanboys may think player's can't pass the buck either, not everything he struggled with was because of that.

For his own sake I would take Bennett's advice move on and knuckle down for 2015.

This time last year he was bagging out the Bulldogs....now it's our turn. As Cult3 said earlier....if selecting him for every game last year despite his shit form isn't "backing" him, I'm fucked if I know what is.

Had to laugh also when he says moving to the Sharks was hitting the bottom of the barrel. Whilst it's true....its not such a smart thing to say about your new employer.
