I actually expect Gagai to get first crack. Has spent plenty of time in the centres.

Dude, Gagai is not ready to play centres. He'll struggle in defense big time.

We'll see I guess. Wouldn't be surprised if Ivan opted for a utility out there again either. Of the young blokes Gagai is probably on top though.

I think Copley should get first go at the center spot that has just been vacated by Inglis

Copley should've been given first crack last year in the centres...I still don't know why we went Beale at the time.

Just saw on the news we'd be looking at Quade and Berrick for 2012 as a replacement for Lockyer.

I would consider Barnes as he has some history in league (albeit limited), but both I'm not overly keen on to be honest. Code jumping doesn't really work unless you're going where your heart lies IMO. A bit like Barnes going back to Union in the first place.

I reckon it's just a media gee-up. The whole GI saga just ended (I think), so the media needs to talk about something new.

But if this is true, it'd be good.

Word from my brother (who has been mates with Berrick since high school) is ........................... this is not happening.

Berrick is a union boy first and foremost - always was, just came to the money when he first joined the Broncos; but wasn't really happy in league. He's not saying he will NEVER come back to league, but it's not in his immediate/short-term plans. He still has a lot he wants to do in Union.

Like actually get into the team for the wannabes

Umm...doesn't he play for the Wallabies already? lol

Barnes back to the Broncos will all depends on the World Cup.
He is captaining the Wallabies B team this week.

For the 2011 season, I'll like to see

1. Hoffman
2. Kemp
3. Yow Yeh
4. Hodges
5. Gagai

I think of the backs with the exception of Hodges, Yow Yeh is probably the better one on one defensive player and is not afraid to tackle. Hopefully he has bulked up during the off season.
He is no slouch in attack either.
Copley should play a year in QLD Cup, his time will come.
