Heat v Sixers delayed again as we don’t have enough of a squad that doesn’t have Covid (or at least exposure).

Zaman will be available and local players from Melbourne will be used to fill in the rest for tomorrow*

The way I interpreted it was that local Brisbane players will be used and if any more players are needed or they don’t get enough they will use melbourne local players. They will definitely prioritise Qld local players over Melbourne players especially considering the QLD players will prove a bit more valuable to them and QLD in the future. I reckon they will go mostly youngsters, expect to see Jack Sinfield, Hugo Burdon, Willans and Sully playing most of them are contracted but haven’t really been around to contract the virus

Still unsure why Lynn opens for the Heat... why not let him come in when the field is a little more spread and he can knock it around and then tee off when he gets his eye in.

Once he's set the size of the ground doesn't matter.

Pretty sure some of his most successful BBL seasons were when he came in at 4 or so... but then it was like...

"what if Lynn opened with McCullum!!"

Lynn is a myth, I swear he just swings as hard as he can and hopes for the best, some times it comes off some times it doesn't.

There seems to be absolutely no other thought put into his approach to batting.

Prestwidge is living up to his family name by being a kind of shit bowler - too up and down and gets carted. Granted, he’s a kid, but the way his siblings have gone doesn’t bode well for him

Can we give Dooley an actual contract? Better him than the Pakistani bloke that can’t even get into QLD yet.

Heat HQ needs a massive broom put through it. I know it’s BBL and people don’t/shouldn’t take it seriously but allowed incompetence really gets to me, no matter the stakes
