after actually reading the article, i'd like to change my answer if I may. it is 1000% Badel doing Badel things, in fact he has probably ramped up the Badel things in this article. yeah sure, the quotes from Hunt could potentially be taken as him weighing up his Origin future ... right up until he says that he will always put his hand up for QLD, I don't know about you guys. but sounds pretty definitive to me.

But don't take my word for it, Hunt can tell you himself. when "asked if the 2025 series will be his farewell to State of Origin" Hunt said:

“I’m not too sure.

“At some stage I will have to make a decision on State of Origin.

“Right now I want to get into next year, have a fresh start at the Broncos and see how the start of the season is going and that will take care of Origin level.”

“It’s the ultimate arena of our game and I love playing for Queensland,”

“It’s hard to say no to Origin, but it’s important I feel up to it within myself.

“I won’t play if I’m not up to it and I feel I will let the team down.

Hunt said himself the other day in a interview I heard that he'll always put his hand up for Queensland unless he knows he would let people down.

In one of the SEN interviews I'm pretty sure he ruled it out... Benny said something along the lines of Madge wanting his player being in origin because it's a sign of a strong squad and it would be left in Hunt's hands
