It kind of makes sense. I don’t like it as much as the next person but he is a bit of insurance in case Duffy or Pezet struggle, bit hard essentially rookie halfbacks after all. As long as he is only on the bench as halves cover and hooker in extreme injury cases but I suspect he’ll be getting games because of who he is and there not ok if he continues to regress.
