Yeah this is the same story mate. Journos were all pissed they couldn't name them at the time because the woman wouldn't go to the police, looks like she has now. Good on her, it must be a tough decision for them when they are in these situations

Seems to be some suggestion that it is Newcastle, although before it comes out I'm sure all 16 clubs will be suggested.

Have a look at the left and centre silhouettes. If you know your Footballers and their physical attributes, you should know instantly who they are.

A quick Google Image search gives a strong inclination.

Yea, there is already some chatter on facebook about this very point, including the hypothesised names of players based on the silhouettes. Guess we will have to wait until tomorrow though

The footballer in question is a hero and plays on to adoring fans. Yet the woman suffers in silence.The club keeps the whole incident undercover - anything to keep winning football games.


It's a good thing the NRL is one hell of an entertaining product in terms of what we're treated to on the field every week because some of the individuals involved in the game are the fucking pits.

Whoever it is minimum 2-3 year suspension if they're too weak to give out a life ban.
A 1 year suspension is just weak.

Agreed. I mean it should be a lifetime ban, but we all no our piss weak the nrl is so they will probably get a three game suspension and told they are very naughty.

In reality the punishment will depend on the profile.

Fringe first grader - life ban
Benchy - 2 to three year ban
Regular member of the run on side - 1 year
Greg Bird/Greg inglis - nothing (because they were just protecting their from herself)
Kurt gidley - heros parade

I agree. Even more so the one on the right, that silhouette can only be one person and if in fact this happened last year (which was suggested at one point by some journo) it's very clear who all three are. If true one club in particular is completely fucked

I don't own twitter or read it. I've got no idea what is ever said on twitter. To my knowledge no one has named the players or clubs. I know the three names and the roles of all three but can't name them.
