OFFICIAL Ben Te'o Resigns

Ballin would be stupid to go there right now. The smart move would be to start next year. He'd have a terrible start to his career if he had that rabble for the year, and being a rookie coach they'd lose trust in him for next year. Short career.

He starts next year officially whilst putting a few things in the fire this year (while still being at broncos), eg roster, few phone calls with feedback and what to work on throughout the year, would help him look a lot better starting his career. Also, if we win the prem it gives him even more leverage with players at manly ("to win, you need to do this, i know ive been there with the broncos, twice")

In sure they'll get someone but jeez its a tough sell for mine. Highest paid halves are Brooks and Fogarty with a few years left, youve got 2 Turbo's ageing/injured to deal with, and a pack missing some serious size and talent, and most importantly depth. Outside backs inconsistent too.

The cap must be so badly skewed on the 2 halves, 2x Turbo's and Hamole because that team looks full of holes.

You've then got a vocal old boys cohort to contend with too, which is why I think they would try go for someone who has played their before. But shit itd be a tough first nrl coaching gig.

I could absolutely see Teo throwing his hand up to do it... he knows a good pub in Manly at least.

You forgot the most important person. That shitbag Isaac Moses pulling the strings from behind the scenes. His hands are well and truly entrenched at Manly. He manages like half the roster plus Siebold lol.

Yeah good call too. Thats a huge problem. What other managers does Isaac still manage that he could shoehorn into the gig?

Bullemor, Brooks and Seibold is all they had there this year.

Now this is what I love to see ..
