Bennett snares Priddis

Penrith veteran Luke Priddis has been thrown an NRL lifeline and will join St George Illawarra on a two-year deal from 2009.

Priddis, 31, will reunite with his former Brisbane Broncos coach Wayne Bennett at the Dragons in what will be his 13th season in first grade.

No surprise there really with the immanent retirement of Simon Woolford, who has barely played this year I might add! Is he injured or just dropped?

Good buy for the saints, means they dont have to play Dean Young out of position!

Woolford was dropped. Was a stupid signing by the Dragons in hindsight. This should make up for it though. Priddis has a few good years left him him. This also means the Panthers can play Iosefa fulltime...which is good for them.
