I hear that the Broncos have the largest coaching staff in the NRL. In saying that this doesn't bother me. Strange that Green has the skills coaching job over Langer, I think thats the wrong way around, but there ya go.
Apart from their individual skills I think here are a few extra things these guys bring to the club.
Webcke - Toughness. How to make your last hit up as good as your first. Also train as hard as you play. Funny enough the better you prepare, the luckier you get.
Langer - Have fun. I think for professional footballers its something they forget. Also the cheekiness of a true halfback. How to get under the skin of an opponent. Believe it or not, at this level that can be the difference.
DeVere – Dedication and professionalism. Mick never had the skills of the other backs but he showed what hard work and dedication and perseverance can achieve. I think players like Boyd, Michaels and maybe Robinson could plenty from.
