Tingha would have to the best never to play Origin he played 2 tests for Australia, the selectors said he was a weak defender was why he wasn't picked. Hazem I think should've played more reps then what he did (1 test and 1 Origin) yet he starred in both of them.

Broncos: John Plath, would've been a gun replacement for QLD and Australia

Name your best and a Bronco as well if you can think of any.

Preston Campbell should have played origin for NSW, but i believe they thought he was too small... he has won a dally M. that was just another in the long line of poor selections NSW have made

Nathan Merritt possibly, especially with the likes of Turner and David Williams being picked over him.

Nate Myles has never played test footy. End Thread.

He has played 3 test matches.

Haha my bad! Well he should walk into the side every year. Also Ari Benji would get destroyed in Origin the guy can't tackle.

As for Broncos Scott Minto for sure

I see Preston Campbell as similar to Matt Bowen in many ways. He can tear NRL teams apart week to week, but I just don't think he could transfer that to rep footy. Probably should have at least got the chance at some stage though.

On the topic of Preston who was a talented half without doubt, I think the reason why he didn't get a gig in Origin was because when he was in his prime (2001-2005) he was up against Brad Fittler, Andrew Johns, Trent Barrett and Brett Kimmorley for a spot and all of them in my opinion were more consistent and better then him.

I reckon Michael Luck has been unlucky never to have played origin, especially when the likes of Johnson and Stagg have played and he is very similar to them

Surely he was better than Anasta, Finch & Timmins.

Besides, he was still playing very good footy in 08-10. How he didn't snag a spot ahead of say Hornby or the two centres who played on the bench, is beyond me.

Quick list...
David Peachey - Australia
Matt Orford - At the time I certainly wasn't a fan of him being selected but in hindsight it's odd that the Dally M medalist never got a shot when rookies, make-shift halves and over the hill players were.
Brent Sherwin
Glenn Morrison
Lance Thompson
Matt Parsons
John Skandalis
Nathan Friend
PJ Marsh - Australia

A blast from the past, Des Morris. Absolutely robbed by NSW bias.

Orford was picked for the game where Brett Finch landed that field-goal but was forced to withdraw because of injury. I'm also pretty sure he was picked for the 2nd game of 2004 as well but again had to withdraw. Agree with the list they were all pretty unlucky.

Nathan Friend, Lance Thompson and David Peachy are the ones I agree with. The others deservedly missed out IMO.

Correct BM, still amazing he never got a shot for them in say 2008 or 2009 though.

Can respect that Alec. A lot of the players I named were really those on the cusp players that could have played in another era or if fortune favoured them.

Was always a big fan of Parsons, still remember his charge down in that 04 golden point game. Guy seemed like Hagrid out there.

Stuart Kelly played SOO, if his capable of it why the hell wouldn't Scott Minto, at least Minto did something at the Broncos.

Kelly was actually a handy player for Parra.
