For the time being Harry, yes ... I've pretty much 'downed tools' since the completion of the ANZ Netball season.. had a really nice stretch from late Jan to June, including a run of 15 straight wins and 28 of 32 through that period - and most importantly netted a nice chunk of money .. So after such a charmed run it just felt like a good time for a mental break.

I'll get into it again when the NBL / WNBL seasons start up around mid October .. Those two and netball are 95% of my betting focus nowadays .. I don't have the time on my hands to grind away at it all year like I used to ..

know I did a bit of half-assed posting on here earlier in the year but I really prefer not to .. in any case a lot of my plays are done very close to game time so there's no real point posting.

but I'll try to post a few thoughts from time to time and am happy to talk bets more privately

Fair call. I know what you mean about throwing a bet on in the final minutes, it's half the reason I don't post many tips.

Man City v Liverpool - Over 2.5 goals at 1.63 @ningnangnong
Not quite the price I wanted but that's probably coz I'm greedy. City are lethal at home and whilst we've got nothing but attacking quality our defence still looks shaky. Mignolet never feels me with confidence and pretty sure this fixture has gone over 2.5 goals the last 7 times it was played.

I actually think it'll be a cagey affair, what with it being so early in the season, both teams still trying to find their groove, etc.

Anyway, I chucked some money on Citeh just to offset the disappointment should we lose! :biggrin:
