Me too! It annoys me more than Sterling's missed hat-trick and that would have been worth a lot more too!

Still on cricket, the Big Bash starts tonight. I've gone Voges for most runs in the series and Arafat for most wickets.

Like that. Simply no way in the world Smith deserved to be named MOTM. Neither did Hazlewood mind you, but it's a joke that Smith got it. Johnson changed the game twice in our favour, and Smith only got it because he's the captain. It's quite simply a ridiculous choice for MOTM.

Do you happen to remember the Farmers Insurance Open in 2011 when Kyle Stanley had a 3 shot lead, hit his 3rd into the Par 5, hit the green and the ball rolled back in the water?

It went in the water, he then took his drop and still left himself with a 4 footer to win. He missed, went to a playoff with Brandt Snedeker.

Both birdied the 1st playoff hole (coincidentally the hole Stanley just found the water on) and move to the 2nd playoff hole, a Par 3. Stanley finds the green a long way out, Snedeker pures it and it flies over the green and lands on a slope where it has no choice but to go out of bounds. Except there's a TV tower in the way and it stops the ball. Snedeker gets up and down with a par from 10 feet and Stanley 3 putts to lose after going off at $101.

So yeah. multiply Stefani anger by like twenty and that's what it was like.

TL;DR Clarke can't possibly win.

Chirst the golf came back around quickly. Tournament of Champions gets under way in a day or so. Not a huge field though so the prices aren't amazing. Can see this being won by someone around the top of the odds market. Leaning towards Kuchar and maybe Mahan. Maybe a dabble on Kirk. I backed him in something late last year and he started very well, but shat the bed.

I backed him in something late last year and he started very well, but shat the bed.

Think all bar Byrd went off at 20/1. Kirk plays good coastal golf and I can definitely see him winning this week. I thought about taking him but I've gone a different angle which is the John Deere Classic.

3 of the last 4 ToC winners are John Deere Classic winners and last year's ToC runner up was also a John Deere winner. Harman is the current winner of the John Deere classic and won that event with negative strokes gained putting, such was the precision of his approach shots! I believe a lot of holes this week are Par 4's under 400 yards so a good wedge and one putt is probably the formula for winning this week. Something that Kuch and Kirk are both very good at though.

**** all of my golf picks this week. 3 shocking rounds from all of them, only to blitz it on the last day. Especially Kirk. I think his last will be the event low round. ****
