Not sure whether Souths were ordinary last week or Canberra were on fire as I missed the game.

True, but the way it's going this year it's possible.

roosters with sbw back should knock off the dogs and well, broncs should win though parra have a good record up here, sharks are due and have good record against warriors at home with warriors have only won like two or three at shark park/remondis, souths are busted and dragons are going ok plus have a good record against them, Souths same as warriors in only a couple of wins away from home from 12 or so, manly should win well.

as you say though, brave tipping hey.

Agreed.

Ive gone the leap of faith with the Green Machine 13+, considering Penrith are second for most missed tackles and Raiders have one of the best completion rates I think they can get up. Also at $6.50 it's a good bargain

In the Slipper, Unencumbered is a bit of a sentimental pick, RIP Nathan Berry - still in shock, cannot believe it. Outside of that, I love the addition of blinkers first time in a Slipper and if he repeats his Millions run he will be very hard to beat, and I think he has been perfectly timed to do that.


Catkins is obviously short but is a weighted moral in that race. Unleashed during the week at $1.80 so will be nervous!

Due to my severe inability to tip this week, I've decided to do a George Kastanza week of tipping.

I will be tipping the exact opposite of every team i reckon will win, except of course the broncos.

Panthers over Rabbitohs

Knights over Raiders
Eels over Roosters
Tigers over Cowboys
Warriors over Bulldogs
Sharks over Sea Eagles

$10 multi on this earns me a cosy $7,807.

Mate it is hard separating club loyalty from perceived results hey. Hate to say it but the Titans look pretty good. As do the Bulldogs too. But my number 1 tip of the week... the house always wins :) But... when the outsiders keep on winning like they have been, those Multi-Bets are conducive to paying off big spreads across more possible outcomes.

I haven't done much punting lately, just haven't been interested enough. However I checked out the odds for Cronulla last Friday night. They were 67 dollars for the GF ! After four rounds. So I decided to have a hundred on them at those odds. I knew Jeff Robson was going to be back and I've watched his influence on Cronulla for the two seasons prior. I've even written about it on this site. Sure enough they belted the Warriors and the odds started to tumble.

No, I don't think they can win the GF but if they get into the eight I'll have them at fantastic odds and can then bet against them knowing that should I lose each bet against them I'll still have them at great odds. Naturally it's all predicated on them making the eight.

First and foremost as a keen listener of Laurie Daley's NSW Origin quotes, and secondly as a seasoned gambler, my advice to all those taking a punt tonight or over the weekend is: "The team with the most points at the end of the game will be the winner" :)

Secondly, stats for the first weeks of the NRL reflect (I think off-hand) that if you backed only the underdogs in each game thus far, that you would be ahead 650% ROI. Don't quote me, but the figure was enormous, and the lines and favourites are reflected this week in the agencies.
