Very interesting theory King Webke.

Wouldnt he still be the best of our under performers in those games though?

of course. but I suspect Parker's votes are inflated by the fact that it is easier to pick up votes in a losing team as a forward.

I don't know what has happened in previous years with this award but I wonder whether he might have picked up a lot more votes this year than he has in other seasons, even though he might have played better in past years compared to 2013.

Parker also got RLW Player of the year and Dally M lock of the year, so him winning this little comp just highlights what a great year he's had.
