Locky was the best fullback we had all decade, and the best five-eighth. Nobody can argue with that.
The second best fullback was without doubt Karmichael Hunt (hell, he's the only other fullback the Broncos used full time).
The second best five-eighth is a choice from very mediocre options:
- Ben Ikin (good in 2000/early 2001 then injury curtailed his career)
- Shaun Berrigan (had a good 2002 at five-eighth outside Langer, but had good stints at centre, hooker and halfback too, hence his place as the best utility)
- Kevin Walters (had a short stint at five-eighth early in 2000 before Ben Walker was dropped from halfback)
So really, Ben Ikin was the second best five-eighth of the decade.
Karmichael Hunt's contribution to the Broncos far exceeded Ikin's, therefore Hunt at fullback, Lockyer five-eighth.
