BHQ's Top 25 Favourite Broncos matches!

Over the years, there have been many great Rugby League matches involving the Broncos. Who could forget the 2008 semi final match against Melbourne? What about the 1994 semi final nail biter vs North Sydney? Or the passing of the torch to Sydney Roosters in the 2002 Preliminary Final? Well, none of those matches should appear on this list because this is all about our favourite matches in this great clubs history.

I will be counting down from 25, your favourite Broncos matches. I need your help to achieve this.

Please PM me with UP TO your favourite 20 Broncos matches.

RULES:

-No posting in this thread what your favourites are or who you think might be number 1.
-You must list your favourite matches in order from 1 to as many as you like just as long as its under 20.
-Every match in the clubs history is eligible (including Grand Finals, WCC, Trials etc), as long as we won or drew.
-In your entry please tell me team we played against, and what year and/or any memorable moment from the match.
-No double spacing. and no copying direct from a spreadsheet. please copy from spreadsheet and paste into notepad first and then copy that data and send to me.(easier for me to collate the data)
-Please put your entry in like so:

1. Vs South Queensland Crushers- 1995 Home game
2. Vs Gold Coast Giants- 1988 (the one where Bryan Niebling danced the can can)
3. Vs Penrith Panthers- 2012 Round 25.

etc.

I'm gonna speak for myself and say that even though I've been an avid Broncos fan since 1998, and have probably watched 95%+ of our games in that time.. I honestly don't really recall specific games apart from maybe a couple of grand finals and the most recent semi where Lockyer broke his cheekbone.

So I guess I'll just sit this one out, damn my memory.

I'm similar, although I have a few decent memories of older games.

I'm just going to trawl through our fixture lists/results over the years to spark my brain into action and see if I can recall a bit more.

I thought this was where PWA was going with his idea. I'm actually looking forward to it and you better believe this is going to be all over social media. The most difficult part will be trying to balance significant games with entertaining games. For instance, that 08 Eels game maybe entertaining, but in the long-run it was just two hard earned competition points that saw us lose Lockyer and Hodges for extended periods. So balancing that with some of our triumphs is going to be rough.

Yeah, if people are struggling. I mean, the countdowns go better when you're like "ohhhh forgot about that game, I love that game", rather than a whole list of "i was wondering when this would appear". But, it's better than having no list at all.
