Yep that was an extremely professional chase from a Heat side as well... one of those awkward chases where they usually come out and try and chase it within 10 overs to be all out for 120.
Peirson was a great anchor for the innings, but thought the contributions from Bryant, Wood and Renshaw were all good as well. No wicket on wicket collapse.
That innings from Bryant is exactly what we've been screaming out for... he was happy to take singles after hitting a boundary and let himself get comfortable out there instead of chasing boundaries.
The only lapse he had was that reverse sweep, which should've been taken, but the damage was already done at that point and was probably him trying out a shot that he's been working on... looked like he actually got pretty good contact on it as well, just directed it straight to the man.
If we get that Bryant consistently he will be such a useful player to have in the lineup this year.
