How much did Mark Waugh have on Adelaide?

He found a negative in almost every situation about the Heat tonight. Renshaw was flying, belting them everywhere "he's going to struggle from fatigue".. fair dinkum.

He’s so painful to listen to. He finishes everybody’s sentences for them and just has to voice his opinion on everything. If it’s him and Mark Howard commentating, I don’t care who the third person is, I’m on mute.

Except for the 10 undroppables in the side. Fun fact, McSweeney made more runs and dropped far less catches than Khawaja.
 
Not the most convincing win from the Heat but in the end the work from McSweeney and Renshaw proved the difference. I would have liked to have seen McSweeney take more control at the death but it was still a great bounce back and the Heat wouldn't have won without him.

Big game coming up on Boxing Day. If the Heat can knock over the Scorchers in Perth it'll put them in good stead for the rest of the season.

And the Scorchers haven’t started that well. They are also likely to be without Inglis and Richardson and not sure if Hardie is back but if he is, he’ll be underdone. Good time to get them. Battle of two depleted sides most likely.
 
Bryant looks so good when he hits straight and horrendous when he does anything else

I don’t actively listen to Junior so he doesn’t bother me so much.

Brendan Julian on the other hand is easily the most annoying commentator followed closely by his female equivalent in Mel Jones

It was pretty funny last night watching them try and guess whether or not it was a boundary, they obviously weren't at the ground.

They called for the sawdust, out comes the tractor.. they thought it was raining.

He’s such a talented power hitter and then he goes and tries to reverse sweep early in his innings. So frustrating because he’s got talent but no iq
 
There's been some cracking catches this year in the BBL.
 
That was just sweet - a superbly timed drive for six. This kid should be in test discussions. Yes he's young, yes he's inexperienced but he's supremely talented. Like a Hussey-Jaiswal hybrid.
 
That drive for six went 99m! This kid is insanely good.

What is it with WA players though... looks great and competent for the state side and then numpties when they inevitably get promoted.
