CRICKET Big Bash Discussion

That really was something else, what were they? 3-53 at the end of 10 overs. Just incredible. Obviously we need to see it consistently but Max Bryant has gone from "oh no Bryant's in well we are fucked now" to the saviour of multiple games.
It will always be oh no Bryant is in.

Intersting to see what they do with the team when Marnus and Usman are back. They should probably drop Munro and Wood but I bet they drop McSweeney

Munro needs to go, at this point he should be dropping himself if they won't drop him. He has gotten to that really selfish point when batters are at the end and hopelessly out of form where instead of getting out they **** around and dry up the runs just to not get out.

His innings last night was a disgrace. I have no idea what his plan was other than I need to try and not get out. He wasted nearly 30 balls. The Heat were just lucky Bryant seems to have grown up and played a brilliant innings. Renshaw also support Bryant really well.

At full strength, I'd be going:
1. Khawaja
2. Labushagne
3. McSweeney
4. Renshaw
5. Bryant
6. Alsop
7. Neser
8. Bartlett
9. Kuhnemann
10. Swepson
11. Johnson

And really, Piersen is probably the same or better than Alsop anyway, so the internationals are not really proving inspired selections by the Heat.

Unfortunately I think they’ll drop McSweeney and retain Munro in the side. I hope I am wrong

Bryant announcing himself last night, Sutherland tonight? Immensely talented young man with the ball already but if his batting is finally catching up, good signs. I'm a big fan.

Silly stuff from Sutherland after such a good innings. Didn’t need to go for that and now they are into the bowlers.

Definitely, 25yo state captain with 130 wickets at 24, he's going places.
