Does anyone else follow Bloke In A Bar? Kemp has gone pretty savage on the club, the players and even Walters himself. I don’t know if he reads this forum, but he brought up a lot of discussion points that have been raised in this forum the last few weeks.

What do we think of his comments on this week’s podcast?

Individual players are trying to be the stars when the system should be the star.

Did everything he could to say Kev needs to be held accountable while trying to avoid saying Kev (e.g “higher ups” or something of that nature).

No structure. What are they doing at training? Players missing tackles that they shouldn’t.

Feels sorry for Walsh as he has all the pressure of coming up with big moments because the structure doesn’t provide any other options.

It’s alarming that so many assistance etc are leaving in a short time frame. Suggests something is wrong.

But from what I've watched, there's very little actual footy discussion. It's just, "this player is such a fucking player" or "this player is fucking hot".

Kempy is pretty spot on with his opinion on the Broncos this year. They need to have strips torn off them. Remember he is a broncos fan and has been copping shit from everyone about his team this year. He’s as angry as we are with him this season has gone.

Kemp and Bloke in general are super cautious to not be negative and to give benefit of the doubt. The latest segment on the broncos is as critical as I’ve ever heard him.

Got stuck into Mariner & Willison for their defensive efforts too.

I listen to it on Spotify and they time stamp where they talk about each game - I always just listen to the broncos break down, and I only listen to the Monday episode and the Captwins run. All the other episodes are for young bogan gamblers.

The interesting thing about Kempy is alllll last year he was shouting from the roof tops that there are serious deficiencies in the Broncos game and every week he was worried would be the one that bites them in the ass. It wasn’t until the back of the season that he started to stop being so critical of them.

I used to listen to the whole thing but I just go to the Broncos bit now. I appreciate what they say about footy but they really don’t talk much about it. Out of a 3 and a bit hours show there is probably 30 minutes of actual discussion the rest is talking shit and about how much they want to **** the players.

The thing I am most dissapointed in is it FEELS like the club is just sitting on its hands here. Maybe they are doing something in the background but with 60,000+ members, there deserves to be some sort of action or perception that the slide is going to get arrested for next year.

Acknowledgement of the slide would be a start, but player signings, experienced football manager or assistant, player re-signings would even be a positive. But... nothing....

Yeah, I usually only listen to full podcasts when it is Origin discussion (especially when QLD are winning) and filter the Broncos content each week.

Kempy is usually spot on. I'd love to see him on the Broncos' staff as the Monday review specialist.

He is, but maybe he's too nice. I'd like to see Cameron Smith involved.

I've gone off the magazine shows/podcasts this season but as a longtime listener, I thought Kemp was tame if anything. If you talk to the average Broncos fan, they're not just disappointed, they're absolutely disgusted with the performances the past couple of weeks and so they should be.

It's going to take a pretty special effort to save face from here. Like Henjak in 2009, it just seems like the writing is on the wall. We all said from the start that Kevie would help pick the club back up but inevitably it was going to end in tears.

My biggest fear is that the club will tolerate this run, just as long as Kevie can keep the club in the finals mix. If he just becomes the Broncos Ricky Stuart, I just don't think they'll ever take the next step.
