Australia is so soft when it comes to sporting event crowd participation. Were the whistles too much noise for your precious library?

So how exactly did they measure the World Record? They couldn't just count the number of whistles they handed out because a) some people got more than one and b) some people didn't participate in blowing their whistles during the WR attempt.

No, but it was a bit much when going to the toilet & some women where blowing the whistles when doing their business.

I had to confiscate the whistles for a bit to stop my kids blowing them non stop thoughout the game. But I let them blow like crazy before Gidleys kick [icon_evillaugh I was pissing myself when the announcer was like "people stop blowing the whistles!" [icon_lol1. We didn't do the one at half time because I was chatting with Jeb and Hammo but holy crap it was loud!!

That said we didn't have anyone around us blowing the whistle in the rest of the match so it was great fun.
