Not just Cus .
He pissed off Teddy Atlas who was his coach . To the point where Teddy fired a gun just past Tyson `s ear to make his point .

Tbf Atlas didnt really have much of an influence on Tyson or his career, he was only around Cus for a couple of years. He was only 14 or 15 when that incident happened. Cus was the only stable thing Tyson ever really had in his life. Not that Tyson helped himself either. Plenty of things he has done he should have known better with.

That`s not how Teddy tells it .
He was the one taking Tyson to junior boxing tournaments not Cus .

Cus handed the running of the gym and the training of the fighters over to Teddy as he was getting too old .

Teddy is obviously going to tell it favorably from his perspective. I'd say he would have been helping out Cus as he was getting older with Tyson, that was ultimatley his job, but so were blokes like Rooney. You dont hear Tyson really saying Atlas did much for his career so it depends on who's side you want to take. I wouldnt take too much stock in either as they both have an axe to grind.

No matter how you want to dress it up though, Cus has probably been the only positive influence in Tysons life, especially outside of the ring.

UFC really giving Boxing a run for its money with the judges scorecards when there’s a cash cow involved.

Paddy lost that fight with the first and third round for sure. Unanimous my ass.

I dont think it was as one sided as some people are making out, but he lost that imo. I could have seen a draw tbh, but no way on earth it was unanimous in his favour.

The issue it's the same judges. They are to the point where judges should be required to explain why they have ruled it.

I reckon its a draw with that last round for Volk. Dont think either did enough to win that.

Unanimous for Islam. I think thats a bit of a joke really. One judge gave it 49-46. No way it should have been that.

Damn that was amazing

49-46 is a joke. I had 2,3 and 5 for Volk.

Could have easily been a 10-8 round that last one for Volk. Round 1 was Islams. The rest were all very close. I though for once a draw was probably right. Couldnt believe it when it was unanimous let alone a 49-46 scorecard. Be interesting to see what Dana says with that one.
