Because Hornby isn't a half back, he is way better at Fullback. Finch & SOward would be a better combination under a coach that could get the best out of Finchy I reckon.

If the reports are correct and Anderson wants Cayless gone, I know a number of passionate Parra supporters that will be crying tears of joy if they aren't already now that Finch is gone.

They can't understand how such an average forward has been in first grade, let alone captaining the team for so long.

I agree that FItzgerald needs to go, but that will happen soon enough anyway. The Eels need a shake-up on and off the field.
At least Anderson was honest with Finch, telling him that he didn't see him as the right halfback for the club.

Can't ask for anything more than honesty.

Dramas? Didn't he do pretty good in the UK...?

And forgive me if I'm wrong, he was the only coach to put the Warriors in a Grand Final? His decisions may not be liked by all, but he does what's in the best interest for the team.

He takes away the shit, and makes the team perform. Nothing more you could want from a coach really.

Will be interesting to see where Finch ends up. If Cayless goes too they are no hope for this season or for the next few. Him and Hindmarsh are the heart of that pack....Mateo obviously helps but hes more of an attacking weapon rather than wanting to do the hard yards like those two. Would be a shame for Parramatta. Although turmoil was always going to come with this takeover business by Price and his merry men.

If I were Anderson I wouldn't want him sucking up $400k per season when trying to rebuild a side.

It really is a dumb dumb move by Anderson though don't you think? Four games into the season, when they have lost their established half-back Smith last year, when you are trying to turn the diver into a five-eighth (the jury is still well and truly out on that one as well) he gets rid of a 200+ game half back that has played state of origin. Wouldn't you bring him in for a private chat and suggest there might be a few problems in these areas he needs to work on, rather than saying as reported, you will be playing in England soon. I would bur up as well if the coach did that to me. Just seems terminally stupid to me.
