To be honest the media and the league are terrified of what this team can be in the next 2 -3 years if it stays together. They are putting in overtime putting out figures. The amount of negative comments is deafening. The idea that Brisbane can get out of the also ran category is just a little too much to take for the souther pricks.

These boys have a chance of making a dynasty and if they just realise it they will stick together. The money will come with the success. Chasing short term money from the eels, knights or Warriors will not land you a ring.

I love the fact that the Sydney media and fans are putting shit on us again. When they’re quiet, it means we’re going shit and not a threat.

Next year if Haas or Lodge miss any significant time out of the team, who is stepping up into that front row position as cover..?

When it comes to placing our middle forwards into tiers this is the way id do it. Who out of Joffa, Carra & Flegs would i promote into the front row and trust they can do a adequate job there?

If you think Flegs can do that job then we should keep him; if not and Joffa/Carrigan are the guys then Flegs can go...

Locky doesn't have to come back(let him stay behind the scenes in making all important roster calls) however, if Tommy turns out as half good as GOD Locky was, we're destined for multiple premierships guaranteed.

Awesome news. The guy is everything a Broncos player should be. Gives 110% every game, has the odd brain fart but it's always from trying too hard rather than not trying.

Man if Roberts had half this guys attitude he'd be out and out the best centre in the game. Staggs is special.

His attitude on the field reminds me a bit of Mick Hancock. He competes on every single thing, it doesn't always come off but it's not without trying.

Something (unfortunately) is going to have to give in retaining all the young talent in this roster. I could see Fleggs being the unlucky one, unless he is prepared to take a significant financial loss to stay with this group.
If we do in-fact tie up Fifita, Oates and Staggs in the near future, then I am sure clubs will go all in for Fleggs as he is basically the last man left.
Hopefully I am wrong and both Darius and Macca retire for the love of the club but, I just cannot see it happening.

Geez it’s tough to get it all right, all the time though. I’d have to say that we are in a much better position now, than what we were 12-18 months ago.

Locked up all the young guns(and Fifita still with a year to go)
Not a bad position to be in, with Boyd and others nearing the end. I’d say the recruitment and retention team have things right where it’s needed to be at this stage.

Still have more young guys pushing through too, the production line is deep at the moment.

There is a lot more to what you hear in the media regarding our current salary cap position..... Lots going on.
