AFL Brisbane Lions - 2025 AND 2024 Premiers

It’s such a shame, it looked they were going somewhere and then the floor fell away. They are the hardest ones to take I think so good on you sticking by them. Hopefully they choose the right person with the next coach. It’s a big club so I think it will be an attractive gig for other coaches.
I liked mick Malthouse. Long time ago now though.

Hawthorne win a clear as day holding the ball tackle on the Collingwood player, at absolute best it was an incorrect disposal. Collingwood go down the other end and kick a goal halfway through the 4th quarter in a really tight game. Farcical stuff.

NRL refs may be bad but the AFL isn't much better.

Collingwood go a lot of let ups that game there for sure. All so the Daicos love fest can continue.

I’m also ticked off because the AFL have chanced some great rules around the draft and made it all so ridiculous now the northern clubs might as well pack up their academies.

We get called out for father-sons because we happen to have to two guns in the Ashcrofts. Collingwood got the exact same thing with the Daicoses and Moore but not a peep in the vfl media about that. It’s all the northern states fault.

This current AFL regime is somehow even worse than Vlandal and his yes man Abdo. Not surprising the umpiring is going down the drain too.

"Yeah but Marcus was born in Melbourne so his sons should be playing for Victorian teams" - VFL media probably

So I was watching the game today and it appears the umpiring is in a shambles.

Within a minute 2 x 50m caused by the stand rule which no one seems to have an clear interpretation.

Umpires can’t measure 15m

The female ump needs to learn how to project her voice and not screech. That was painful.

Whiteboardgate was funny.

It’s pretty poor it was leaked by a fan from an open day though who went into a room off limits.

He did? I watched his presser I thought it was fine.
I saw a snippet which made it sound like it was something Essendon would never do. Was he actually fine with it? I can’t really see an issue with the whole situation other than the fact the lions left their private game planning exposed to the public.

I can’t believe Brad Scott got on his high horse over it.
It’s a terrible look for the game of an opposing supporter who has jeopardised kids being able to come through and look at their hero’s.

****ing drop kick

that was as angry as I’ve seen fagan and not from his team view, more for the game view. Way to ruin it for every kid who may have had the chance to come have a look at a first grade player set up and something to aspire to.

Lions may shut up shop now and I wouldn’t blame them.

Media might be doing media. I thing Scott’s presser was fine, if it was his brother I’d more believe it though.

Surely not another Carlton comeback at the Gabba. Carlton ffs.
