Such a bizarre decision to retire so early, he really is unique. Very sad he is retiring.

Especially since he’s got one more contracted year left for a million bucks!

Well we've got four options really:
1. Go with Big O and Fort
2. Give Henry Smith the spot and see how he goes, though he is a better ruckman than forward
3. Go small and use this opening for Levi and go with four small forwards instead, problem with this is that as good as Morris looks, he isn't ready to be 1st or 2nd tall yet
4. See if we can poach an old / injured tall forward from somewhere, we would have so many tall forwards lining it up to go to us it isn't funny - I'm looking at a Tom Lynch, Levi Casboult, Darcy Fogarty, Oscar Allen or someone like that

At his best, he’s absolutely elite…unfortunately he’s 32 and banged up, how close to his best is he still going to be? That’s the risk I suppose.

Apparently Joe was going to retire last year and would have if Lions won the flag. He told Fagan he will play one more year and good for him that he goes out a winner.

His final series was immense. It would be hard to play at that level again if his head wasn’t in it. Goes out a lions legend.

Just couldn't touch him given he's 32 and hardly played for 2 seasons. Plus he is a complete **** and getting paid a lot of money.

They were also overwhelming favourites last year and we took them down. Of course we did get smashed by them in round 1 this year but much better side now.
