For those of you that may not have got your members emails yet, below is one that I received today.

Not sure what the story is re having to send photos in but maybe the players are screening that certain fans aren't allowed in (wonder who [icon_wink ), or they are looking for a certain demographic......makes you wonder

I also note with interest that they have taken the liberty of stealing our name, Broncos HQ. So does this mean they want to be re-affiliated with us eusa_think

Anyway no doubt there will be some here looking at attending but may not have got the email due to another person getting all their information etc, so heres an early heads up.

Here at Broncos HQ we are gearing up for what we are sure will be an incredible 2010 season and we’re sure that you’re just as keen for the team to take to the field as we are! But before that can happen, we need to prepare our new advertising campaign - Hold On To Your Seat.

For the first time, our advertising campaign will feature our very own season members. After all, who can portray the fantastic experience of being at a Broncos home game better than our own members? That's where you come in...

We need 50-100 season members of all ages to be extras in a photo shoot that will be used in our advertising campaign to be displayed around the City - newspapers, billboards, bus station ads just to name a few. Sure, we could just use professional "extras" for this but we want these ads to look REAL and to feature people who truly know what being a Broncos supporter is all about. In short, we need you!

The photo shoot will involve spending a day or an evening at Suncorp Stadium on either Thursday 14 January, 4pm – 10pm or Friday 15 January, 10am – 4pm. We will provide free on-site parking, lunch or dinner, afternoon tea, an exclusive tour of the Broncos dressing rooms, as well as a special thank-you gift for helping us out

Interested?? If so and you are available on the dates above, here’s the details of what you need to do:

Firstly, email us a photo of yourself to Candice at candicek@makecommunications.com by no later than Monday 11 January, with your phone contact numbers. If you don’t have an image of yourself that you can email, please send an email registering your interest and include your name, age and phone numbers
We will then make contact with you to provide final arrangements and distribute access passes for the day
We ask that all members selected to attend please bring with them 3 outfits, one of which is a Broncos-themed outfit (jerseys, scarves, t-shirts etc)
All members that come along on the day will need to sign a release form to allow us to use your image in our advertising campaign. Anyone who attends who is under 18 years of age will need to have a parent/guardian sign this form on their behalf
Please bring along any banners, signs etc that you use at our home games

We’ve known here at the Broncos for some time that we have the best members in the Game and now we need your help to promote out great Club. So come on, please help us out. Send us your photo, come along to Suncorp Stadium and help make our 2010 advertising campaign something to get Brisbane talking about!

Hold On To Your Seat!!

This BS, why can't they do this shit on the week end.

ummm no.

BTW kinda disappointed this thread isnt about all the MMI and Tip Top ads Alfie did in the 90s. I wonder what happened to Amos?

Love how they ask people to bring banners etc - given how anal they are about actually letting people take them to games lol

I've never had any trouble with my banner at the games.

I hate banners at football matches, makes it hard for everyone else to see the match properly just because you want to wave a dumb sign above your head.

It's just showing support for your team. It's better than just sitting on your hands like most of the people that I see.

I get the idea and that is all well and good, but why not just cheer loudly or applaud? Neither of those bother the other people who paid just as much to watch the game as you have. I am not having a go at you I am just saying they really bug me generally speaking.

I can understand that they bug you if people hold them up during the game. That would be awful for the people behind them. I only ever hold mine up when the team is running out or after scoring etc. It would be rude to hold them up during play.

icon_thumbs_u People who do what you do are fine, people who hold them up after breaks or just randomly are the ones I hate. I also recall Coxy pointing out where you guys all sit right down at ground level where you will affect the least amount of people regardless of when you use your signs which is fine too.

i once held up a huge sign at Suncorp Stadium saying "Give me some Gymp-Lovin" did that bother you?

King_Lockyer, you can have a huge sigh of relief now that Gymp thinks that your poster is fine.

Free Drink (thats 1) for anyone that does that next season! And i spot you with it!

Anyone who does that at my annual venture to Suncorp will get exactly what there sign says.

Quick! Where's my bedsheet and scissors?!?!?!

So who got invited to go do the ad tomorow? I did!! Woohoo!

Just back from the photo shoot. It was really cool to get a look in the dressing rooms. That was the highlight for me!! Also, someone forgot to turn the automatic sprinklers off! They came on at 7pm and soaked the cameras and laptops! It was pretty funny!

Bruno was there answering questions. I asked if Lockys contract has been finalised. He pretty much said what I expected him to. That he has signed and they are just waiting for the 3rd Party deals to be wrapped up. It was a pretty cool experience!
